Man hacks wife to death in Kottayam, gets arrested

KOTTAYAM: In a shocking incident, a woman was hacked to death by her husband in Kottayam. The incident occured near Meenadam in Kottayam.

The deceased is identified as Elsy. Police have arrested her husband Joy. It is learnt that Joy has seriously injured himself following the murder and is currently undergoing treatment. The incident occurred in the afternoon.

According to sources, Joy committed the murder after quarreling with Elsy over a phone call. Police have initiated an investigation.
