Dr. Ambedkar Visual Media Award for M.G. Pratheesh

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: M.G. Pratheesh, sub editor and program producer of Kaumudy TV is the recipient of this year’s Kerala State Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Visual Media Award for the best report. The report was premiered on Kaumudy TV's 'Nerkkannu' which covered the difficulties of Malambandaram tribal people in Pathanamthitta. The award was decided by a jury comprising of Subash T.V, Meera Velyudhan, R.S. Babu, Johny Lukos and G.P. Ramachandran. M.G Pratheesh will receive a shield and prize money of Rs. 30,000 on December 11 at Thiruvananthapuram Press Club.

M.G. Pratheesh is the son of Maniratha Kurupp and Geetha residing at Kallambalam.
