NEW DELHI: In response to Kodikkunnil Suresh MP's query in Lok Sabha, Union Minister Prahlad Patel said Sabarimala won't be made a National Pilgrim Centre.

This is a longtime request of South Indians and the Prime Minister on his visit to Kerala last year acknowledged it. Annually, around 4 to 5 crore pilgrims visit Sabarimala, a temple which is open 127 days a year. People from all faith and caste can visit Sabarimala.
