NEW DELHI: The centre said sending a non-stop train for migrant workers to return home is not viable. The centre has responded to the demand of states including Kerala. There are 3,85,000 migrant workers in the state. Arrangements should be made for them to return home after April 14. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had demanded a special non-stop train for migrants stranded to return home. However, the centre has made it clear that it is not practical to permit a non-stop train for migrant workers to return.
