Three persons arrested for abducting, sexually abusing minor girl

KOLLAM: Police on Monday arrested 3 youths who abducted and sexually abused a 17-year-old girl in Kollam. The arrested have been identified as Thoufeeq, Nidhin and Vishnu.

According to police, Thoufeeq, a tile worker, had established an intimate relationship with the victim who used to bring lunch for him. Later, the three abducted the girl, took her to an isolated place near the Maankunnu estate and sexually abused her.

The three were later arrested by Kunnikode police based on the complaint filed by the victim's family.
