THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are chances for heavy rains in Kerala in the next four days, the Met department has warned.
The rains will intensify in North Kerala on Friday. Yellow Alert was declared in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod districts on Friday. There are also warnings of heavy rain in these districts on Sunday.
Districts such as Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasargod have been put under Yellow Alert on Saturday.
The Disaster Management Authority has warned people to be on high alert. There is no ban for trawling along Kerala-Lakshadweep cost.
