Angamaly depot closed after KSRTC conductor tests positive for COVID-19

KOCHI: KSRTC Angamaly depot has been closed after a conductor tested positive of COVID-19. The disease was confirmed on a native of Mankada in Malappuram and a conductor of the ordinary bus of the depot. He had returned to his native place after the duty and was confirmed of the virus there. The results of his swab samples were obtained yesterday.

However, it is not clear from where he contracted the disease. People who came in contact with him have been asked to go into quarantine. It is not clear whether anyone from them has the disease. Service will start only after disinfecting the depot and the premises.
