Collector declares more areas as containment zones in Thiruvananthapuram

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Thiruvananthapuram Collector Navjot Khosa declared more containment zones in the district on Saturday.

They are:

• Nagarur Grampanchayat 5th ward Chemmaruthymukku
• Ottasekharamangalam Grampanchayat 10th ward Kuravara
• Parassala Gramapanchayat 18th ward Vanyakodu
• Parassala Gramapanchayat 16th ward Inchivila

Besides the above, the following current containment zones will remain so for seven more days:

• Attukal ward 70
• Kuriyathi Ward 73
• Kalippankulam ward 69
• Manacaud ward 72
• Thrikkannapuram ward Tagore road – ward 48
• Muttathara ward 78
• Puthenpalam

The district collector has asked people in this area not to go out unless it is for some emergency need.
