Kerala reports one more COVID death, Kannur native tests positive after death

KANNUR: A man who died in Kannur on Monday tested positive for coronavirus. The deceased has been identified as Saleeq. With this, the death toll in the state due to COVID-19 touched 36.

Saleeq, who had returned from Ahmedabad one month ago, had been staying at his home even after completing period. Though he was suffering from stomach diseases, he did not seek proper treatment, a report said. It is learnt that he had sought alternative methods of treatment via video calls. Meanwhile, Saleeq's family is planning to file a complaint in this regard.
