COVID-19 claims one more life in Kerala as inmate of old age home in Thiruvananthapuram dies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One more COVID-19 death has been reported in Kerala. The deceased has been identified as Mary (79), an inmate of a Kochuthura old age home. Mary was bedridden for the past eight months and passed away on Thursday. She tested positive for coronavirus in the antigen test. With this, the number of reported deaths due to the viral disease rose to six on Friday.

Two COVID deaths were reported in Ernakulam and one each in Kozhikode and Kollam. In Kasaragod, a COVID case was confirmed post-death.
