KOCHI: Actress Revathy told Kerala Kaumudi that she was sad to have hurt many persons though WCC’s fight was for a good cause.

“Let us see what will be the action against us from AMMA for having expressed our opinion publically. We are trying to understand the right intention of what Siddque had said and accept it," she said.

Revathy also accepted AMMA general secretary Edavela Babu’s explanation that she was not invited to AMMA's programme as her phone number and address were not given to him. "Despite working with Mohanlal so long, his calling us just actresses was like snubbing us. After informing us that they will call a joint press conference after discussions, he backtracked from it. This embarrassed us. They had also offered to amend bylaws to reinstate those who had resigned. On August 7 we had requested for talks and went there as AMMA members. We were not told about meeting media persons there. We were taken aback when we were told of a press conference all on a sudden," she explained.
