Dubbing artist and actress Bhagyalakshmi has reacted to the incident in which a man died by suicide after a video was circulated on social media. She said that when an allegation goes viral, a life can silently collapse. Bhagyalakshmi shared her response through her social media page. She said that those who commit crimes should be punished and that the innocent should get justice. 'If even one of these is lost, it's not justice. It is a failure of society,' she wrote.

'That person had to give up his life to prove or make people believe in his innocence. If he had not died, the "judges" on social media would have been divided into two groups. He took his own life because he could not bear the widespread attacks against him that began as soon as the video came out. In that sense, the woman and those who abused him in the comments after watching the video also share responsibility for his death.
