CPM woman activist found hanging in party office, dejection in party committee reason for death, say relatives

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A CPM woman activist and an ASHA worker was found hanging in the party office. She has been identified as Asha (41), wife of Sreekumar of Puthen Veettil in Azhakikkonam. She was a party member for the past 15 years and had attended the committee held in the party office in Parassala.

She was found hanging in the building bought for the party office in Azhakikkonam. Asha was found hanging in a search by her relatives after she was found missing in the night. She took the drastic step due to dejection from the party committee. She leaves behind her children Arun Krishna and Srikanth. The body is presently at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.
