Situation worsens in Thiruvananthapuram; 820 persons test positive on Thursday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The COVID situation in Thiruvananthapuram district has worsened with 820 persons testing positive for the virus on Thursday. This is the highest single-day spike recorded by the capital district. Among the newly infected persons, 721 contracted the disease through contact. Meanwhile, 547 persons tested negative for the virus in the last 24 hours.
