Geeta Prabhakar will be back to avenge Georgekutty; Drishyam 2 will also star Asha Sharath

Asha Sharath is happy to portray again the character of Geeta Prabhakar. Asha Sharath is once again playing her favourite character in Drishyam 2 which started shooting on Monday. In the climax of Drishyam, Geeta Prabhakar goes to US to stay with her sister, inorder to relieve from the pain of her son being killed. Asha Sarath has earned much praise from critics for naturally portraying this character. The actress also expects that she will get a break after this movie, which she got for the last time after Drishyam 1.

On Monday Asha Sharath reached the shooting set after Covid-19 test. “It is with great expectation that I am starting the journey for Drishyam 2. I m happy to come back as my favourite character again. I need your support and blessings,” Asha Sarath wrote in facebook. She have also shared a picture taken after Covid-19 tests.

Sources say that Drishyam 2 will be a crime thriler. All actors including the technicians of the film has undergone Covid-19 tests. All are asked to stay in the hotel until the shooting ends. Nobody is allowed to contact anybody from outside. Mohanlal will join with the group on 26th. The film is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.
