THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala confirmed 8253 COVID-19 cases on Saturday, Health Minister KK Shailaja informed. Among the new cases, 7084 persons developed the disease through contact including 939 cases without an identified source of infection. 67 health workers tested positive for the virus today.
Meanwhile, 6468 patients tested negative for the virus on Saturday.
The state recorded 25 COVID deaths on Saturday with the toll rising to 1306.
