CHENNAI: The Madras high court on Tuesday issued a notice to several stars, including Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, for endorsing fantasy game apps. Apart from Kohli, the Madurai bench of the High Court issued notice to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly, actors Tamanna Bhatia, Prakash Raj, Rana and Sudip Khan. Lashing out at the stars, the court asked whether they weren't aware of the fact that online gambling would adversely affect people.
The court was considering a case filed by lawyer Mohammad Rizvi following the suicide of a young man who lost money by participating in gambling applications.
