'Years back, I saw a similar reel card, what happened after is history': Mohanlal makes major announcement

Making a major announcement through his Facebook page, actor Mohanlal said the teaser of his much-awaited 'Drishyam 2' will be released on New Year Day. 'Drishyam', directed by Jeethu Joseph made a historic success at the box office as it was later remade into other languages. The announcement of the sequel's teaser came on December 19-the 7th anniversary of the movie's release.

"Years back, I saw a similar reel card on the monitor of the dubbing studio, what happened after is history", Mohanlal started off the post recalling the history Drishyam made.

The actor also a picture of the teaser's reel card along with the post.

"The teaser of #Drishyam2 will be releasing on Jan 1st, 2021, 00:00 am IST. Wait for the surprise George kutty and family is going to bring, this New Year. Stay Tuned", the actor captioned the picture.
