Pokes with key amidst fight, youth loses vision in left eye

PERINTHALMANNA: A youth lost his vision after poked on his eye with a key during a verbal dispute. The accused identified as Muhammed Shammas (30) of Eravimangalam Devaswom Parambu Puranthottathil House has been arrested. The youth who was in the toddy shop at Anathanam was brought out and then poked him on his left eye with the key of the scooter. The incident happened on December 24. A team consisting of sub inspector Hemalatha, ASI Abdul Saleem, CPOs Prabhul, Shafeeq, Kabeer, Shalu, Mithun and Saji nabbed the accused.
