MUMBAI: In a dramatic incident. a group of Shiv Sena workers was seen pouring black ink on a BJP leader after the latter criticised Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Shirish Katekar, the BJP leader who criticised the CM, was also forced to wear a saree by the Shiv Sena workers. Police have registered a case against Shiv Sena activists after a video of the incident went viral on social media.

Earlier, Shirish had stated that Uddhav Thackeray was not fit to rule the state. Following this, Shiv Sena leader Purushottam Barde lashed out at Shirish while stating that Uddhav is a revered figure in the Shiv Sena and activists will not forgive those who criticise him.
