Cop steals Rs 50,000 from thief’s ATM in Kannur

KANNUR: A cop stole money from a thief’s ATM in Kannur. Senior CPO E N Sreekanth of Thaliparambu Station stole an amount of Rs 50,000 from the thief’s ATM. He committed the fraud after getting the PIN number in the name of investigation. Rural SP said Sreekanth has been suspended in the name of it and investigation has started. The SP said that a theft case has been registered against Sreekanth. The DGP has sought an immediate report from the SP over the issue.
