MALAPPURAM: Leaders pay tributes to V V Praksh, the UDF candidate of Nilambur and Malappuram DCC president, who died Thursday morning. Rahul Gandhi remembered him as an honest and hardworking member of the congress. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also condoled the death.

KPCC chief Mullappally Ramachandran said the death of V V Prakash was a great loss to the Congress leaders. Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala said he is saddened by the loss of his brother.

E T Mohammad Basheer recalled that V V Prakash was a leader who had no selfish interests. 'I don’t know what to say. Condolences to the family. I pray that time will pay for this loss which happened to the party,” said K Sudhakaran MP.
