'Couldn't get ventilator bed, felt scared and realized that even Kerala is not safe': Arun Gopi on Facebook

Director Arun Gopi has shared his experience on the Covid situation as the second wave of the pandemic is testing the nation. Arun wrote about his horrific experience when the mother of her friend and actor Anwar Sherif was diagnosed with Covid and was in need of a ventilator. But despite calling many places, they couldn't get a ventilator bed. "In fact, I felt scared and realized that even Kerala, which I thought was safe, was not so safe", he wrote on Facebook.

"We know there are limits to our healthcare !! However, more care should be taken by the people and the government .... !!
Thanks to God, Finally at 8 pm today she got a ventilator bed in a hospital in Pattambi ... Umma is breathing easily now...", Arun Gopi wrote on Facebook
