THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Forest Minister A K Saseendran said that an interim report will be sought on the tree felling controversy. After getting the investigation report, if required there will be a probe by other departments. Forest officials should not be careless and there will be strict monitoring, the forest minister said.

The minister said that he is not responding to the allegations of bribery. It will affect the investigation. Roji Augustine should not have complained to the media. He can approach the investigation team. The minister said that he had met Roji Augustine in last June.

There is no weight on my lap. Roji arrived to invite for an inauguration function. However, due to inconvenience did not attend the function. The minister said that he had not helped Joji in any way.
