Police register case against madrasa teacher for violating lockdown

KANNUR: Police have registered a case against a madrasa teacher for violating lockdown by taking a class. The incident took place at Hidayathul Islam Madrasa on Karimpam Sir Syed College Road in Taliparamba, Kannur. The case was registered against madrassa teacher AP Ibrahim.

The class was conducted after bringing about 10 children to the madrasa. The Taliparamba police, which received information about the class, reached the spot and stopped the class. The case has been registered against the teacher under the Kerala Epidemic Diseases Act.
