Sajesh gets customs notice; passport missing, lost mobile phone, says Arjun Ayangi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The customs will question DYFI Chembilode former regional secretary C Sajesh in the Karipur gold smuggling case. Sajesh was issued a customs notice asking him to appear for the interrogation. He was asked to appear at the customs Kochi unit at 11 am tomorrow.

Arjun Ayangi, arrested by the customs will be produced in the court today. He will be produced in the court considering financial offences in Kochi this morning. It is heard that Arjun hid the evidences and appeared for the questioning.

In his statement, Arjun said that his identity proofs including passport are missing and that he had lost his mobile phone also. The investigation team will file a plea seeking his custody for ten days for further questioning in the case.

Mohammad Shafeeq, who is in customs custody will be brought to Kochi today and interrogated along with Arjun. The customs arrested Arjun after collecting the evidences including his phone records.
