THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A bicycle rally organized by the Youth Congress against the increase in fuel prices in the country is on the receiving end of ridicule after a video went viral on social media. In the video, Shafi Parambil MLA, who was at the rally, can be seen saying, "I told foot march was enough". The video went viral on social media, prompting criticism and ridicule.

Shafi, riding a bicycle, said this to other Congress workers during the rally. Shortly, he was told by the others that the rally is going live on social media and on hearing this Shafi repeatedly asked the person shooting the video to delete it. This video has been widely circulated as trolls on pro-left pages. Criticisms have already been leveled that the Youth Congress' program was a farce for votes.
