Painful sight! Father lying dead on road; Twins left alone near body for three hours

KOCHI: A 29-year-old youth was found lying dead on the roadside. The dead has been identified as Jithin, only son of George and Lisy Mol of Kaloor. He was staying in a resort and was found lying on the roadside outside the resort. His father George is abroad.

His three-year-old twins were left alone near the body for almost three hours and were found crying. A paper boy saw the body early this morning. Jithin runs a business in Goa. He reached his hometown after hit by Covid.

Christina, a Russian is his wife. She had gone to Bengaluru in connection with some work. Jithin was staying in the resort as some repairs work was going on at his house in Kakkanad.

The police have received the CCTV footages of Jithin opening the door and coming out with his children at 2.30 am Wednesday morning. Initial conclusion is that heart attack is the cause of his death. His post-mortem will be conducted today.
