Man stabs cop who came to investigate case, gets arrested

MALAPPURAM: An SI was stabbed in Kondotty in Malappuram. SI Ramachandran of Kondotty station was stabbed by a man in Mini Estate in Pallikkal Bazaar. The incident took place when the officer came here for an investigation following a complaint. The accused attacked him as soon as he saw the police uniform. The attack was from the front. The driver of the Kondotty station was also present, the SI said. Hareesh, the accused, was taken into police custody. SI's injury is not serious. He was admitted to a private hospital in Kozhikode.
