Sandeep's murder was planned, nine stabs on chest, CPM alleges RSS behind attack

THIRUVALLA: The CPM has accused the RSS of being behind the murder of CPM local secretary PB Sandeep. Indications are that the assassination was planned. Sandeep sustained nine stab wounds to the chest, two of which were deep stab wounds, the main cause of death.

The area where Sandeep resides was earlier a BJP-RSS sphere of influence. But under Sandeep's leadership, the party gained strength there. There are indications that RSS-CPM clashes have been going on in the Peringara region for the past few days. The incident took place around 8 pm on Thursday. It is learned that Sandeep was hacked by a three-member gang who arrived on a bike. Sandeep was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but his death was confirmed shortly after. According to preliminary information, Sandeep, who was sitting on a rock on the way to Chathankari, was hacked by a gang that arrived on a bike.
