PALAKKAD: Kottathara Hospital superintendent Dr. Prabhudas has come up with an allegation against the Health Department. He alleged that he was deliberately kept away before the health minister Veena George's visit to Attappady where infant deaths are taking place. According to Prabhudas, top officials in the health department were behind the move.

"Some officials are attempting to project me as a corrupt person. Even though they are attempting to keep me away, I am happy that the hospital is being developed. I have faced similar neglect throughout my career. There are many issues in Kottathara hospital, including the shortage of staff. I should be the one raising these issues and I am not afraid as I have all the documents regarding this," Prabhudas said.
