Can Covid-19 infection cause penis shrinkage and erectile dysfunction? Findings are concerning

It was found that penis shrinkage is a rare symptom in people who recovered from Covid. A study among 3,400 people at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine found that 200 of them had penis shrinkage. The study was published in the World Journal of Men's Health. The Daily Mail also reported that extensive endothelial cell deficiency from Covid 19 infection has been shown to cause significant erectile dysfunction.

"Covid infection can definitely cause erectile dysfunction. If ED persists for a period of time in some cases it can cause penis shrinkage", Dr. Charles Velliver, urologist and director of men's health at Albany Medical College in New York, said. Dr. Ashley Winter, an Oregon-based urologist, has also confirmed this.
