K V Thomas had then said that K-Rail will create a liability of Rs 2 lakh; MLA shares picture of UDF event held four months ago

T Siddique MLA has levelled harsh criticism against K V Thomas, who took part and shared stage with the chief minister at an LDF convention, organized as part of Thrikkakkara bypolls. Siddique has criticized Thomas’ speech, favouring K-Rail, at the LDF convention. In his speech, K V Thomas had stated that the Congress should discuss K-Rail and that the stance, to oppose the project if Pinarayi implements it, is wrong.

However, K V Thomas had earlier raised sharp criticisms against K-Rail at an anti-K-Rail protest convention organized by Ernakulam DCC in December 2021. He had then said that the project will create a liability of Rs 2 lakh. He had even alleged that Pinarayi Vijayan is pushing Kerala towards a huge disaster. Nevertheless, now K V Thomas is of the opinion that Pinarayi Vijayan is a hero and cause behind Kerala’s development, said Siddique.
