Rajeev Ravi- Nivin Pauly movie 'Thuramukham' to hit theatres, release date announced

The release of Rajeev Ravi's 'Thuramukham' movie starring Nivin Pauly has been announced. The movie will hit theaters on June 3. Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, Arjun Ashokan, Darshana Rajendran, Sudev Nair, Manikandan Achari, Senthil Krishna, Santosh Keezhatoor and many more are in the cast. Rajeev Ravi is the cinematographer of the film. The release of the film has been delayed several times due to Covid. The main theme of the film is the Chappa division of labor that existed in Kochi till 1962 and the protest of the workers to end it.

The film is based on a play written by KM Chidambaram and his son Gopan Chidambaram has penned the script for the film.The crew includes Editing B Ajithkumar, Art Director Gokuldas, Makeup Ronax Xavier, Costume Designer Sameera Saneesh, Production Controller Deepak Parameswaran, PRO AS Dinesh and Athira Diljith.
