PC George released from jail as BJP workers receive him, says reply to CM Vijayan will be given by people in Thrikkakara

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: PC George has been released from jail after securing bail in the hate speech case. After being released from Poojappura Central Jail, PC George told reporters that the people of Thrikkakara will respond to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He also said that he will campaign for the BJP candidate in Thrikkakara. George said he would abide by the law.

BJP activists received PC George, who was released from jail. Leaders including BJP district president VV Rajesh were present to receive George.

The High Court granted bail to PC George in a hate speech case registered by the Thiruvananthapuram Fort police. Earlier, the high court had granted anticipatory bail to George in a case registered by the Palarivattom police for his speech in Vennala.
