CHENNAI: Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was appointed as Chennai Super Kings captain in the last IPL season and lost it due to poor performance, is likely to leave the franchise in the next season.

The speculations about Jadeja leaving the club gained momentum as the cricketer removed all CSK posts from his social media accounts. There were reports of a rift between the Chennai team and Jadeja. At the beginning of the 2022 season, CSK announced Jadeja as the captain replacing Dhoni.

But due to the poor performance of the team, Dhoni was brought back as captain. After this, Jadeja was unable to complete the season due to a rib injury. Some fans pointed out that Jadeja did not wish Dhoni even on his birthday the other day. Following this, Jadeja removed all the posts related to Chennai Super Kings.
