NEW DELHI: Minister AK Saseendran on Thursday said that the central government has accepted the concerns of the states on the buffer zone issue. The minister said that Kerala will approach the Supreme Court on the buffer zone issue. States can directly approach the Supreme Court as they are not party to the case. The minister was speaking to the media after meeting Union Forest and Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav.
The minister said that the central government has informed that it will take a stand favourable to the states when the Supreme Court seeks its stand. Saseendran said the Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav assured to take all necessary measures in favour of Kerala's position. Bhupendra Yadav will arrive in Kerala on the 12th of next month.
