Thiruvananthapuram to host international cricket match soon, India vs South Africa T20I match to be held at Karyavattom Sports Hub

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Exciting days of cricketing action are coming back to Thiruvananthapuram. The BCCI has allowed Kerala to host a T20 series against South Africa. The match is on September 28.

Prior to this, three international level matches-two T20Is and one ODI have been held at the Karyavattom Sports Hub. India won the first T20 against New Zealand in 2017, but the hosts suffered an eight-wicket defeat in the second T20 against the West Indies in 2019. In the 2018 ODI match against the West Indies, India won the match.
