DHARMASTHALA: Vineesh (23), the accused in the Perinthalmanna Drishya murder case, has been found. Locals caught him at Dharmasthala in Karnataka and handed him over to the police. Vineesh, who had been in Kannur Central Jail, was brought to the Kuthiravattom Mental Health Center in Kozhikode three days ago after he showed signs of mental illness.

Vineesh was caught by the locals in Dharmasthala while he was attempting to steal a vehicle. A police team from Kerala is on its way to Dharmasthala to bring him back. Vineesh escaped from the Kuthiravattom Mental Health Centre at the time when a fire brigade arrived at the hospital to remove a ring that got stuck on an inmate’s finger.
