NEW DELHI: A chartered plane carrying 12 Indian passengers landed at Pakistan’s Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on Monday. According to Geo News, the flight, which had departed from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, landed in Pakistan by noon. The incident has been confirmed by a spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Shortly after landing in Karachi, the flight took off again.
The special chartered flight, which departed from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, landed at Karachi by around 12:10 pm. According to the CAA, the international flight had flown in from India and except for that, it had no other connection with the country. However, it is not clear why it landed at Karachi airport.
Last month, two planes from India had landed in Karachi due to technical issues. Earlier on July 17, an IndiGo flight en route to Hyderabad from Sharjah was diverted to Karachi due to defects in an engine.
