Navy officer arrested for impregnating 17-year-old girl

KOCHI: A navy officer was arrested for sexually abusing a minor girl in West Kochi. The arrested is Hans Raj (26), a native of Behror in Alwar of Rajasthan. The incident came to light when found the 17-year-old girl eight months pregnant.


Police said that when his wife went home for delivery, Hans Raj started his relationship with the girl and sexually abused her. The information about her pregnancy came out the other day. With this, a complaint was lodged with the police.


The youth, who initially denied the relationship, confessed to the crime when taken into custody and questioned.
