Rajasthan Congress crisis: Party to issue show-cause notice to Shanti Dhariwal

NEW DELHI: A show-cause notice will be issued to Rajasthan Minister Shanti Dhariwal for holding a parallel meeting. Dhariwal is a confidant of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. He had also alleged that the high command leaders had conspired against Gehlot.

Meanwhile, amid the crisis in Rajasthan Congress, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sought time to meet Sonia Gandhi. AICC-appointed observer Ajay Maken came to the scene, repeating that what happened in Rajasthan was a breach of discipline. But the Gehlot faction says that Maken was involved in a conspiracy. Meanwhile, Kamal Nath will talk to Gehlot and Sachin Pilot to resolve the issue. A section has demanded that the presidential election process be postponed. The demand is that it should be postponed until the problem is resolved. But Madhusudan Mistry stated that there is no plan to postpone the election.
