The order of the central government banning the Popular Front of India (PFI) and their feeder organizations was issued Wednesday morning.

The centre banned the organization on the whole following nationwide raids and arrests conducted by the NIA recently. 106 leaders were arrested after an investigation and 247 people were taken into custody by the central agencies.
