19-year-old youth abuses teen girl for hours after locking up her mother and brother, gets arrested

BHOPAL: A 19-year-old youth was arrested for raping a 16-year-old girl in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The youth was previously the girl's neighbour.

The police said that the accused had been abusing her for months. Four months ago, when the girl's mother was not at home, the accused raped the girl. This was repeated several times. The child did not tell anyone about this out of fear.


The accused came to the girl's house at around two in the morning on September 18th and threatened to kill the girl's mother and differently-abled brother. He placed a knife on her mother's neck and locked both of them in the room and abused the girl for several hours. The family moved to a different house, but the accused found the place and countinued to threat the family. Following this, the girl's mother approached childline workers.
