King is back, Sachin Tendulkar shower praises on Kohli's stunning performance

MUMBAI: Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is again in the news with his sensational performance against Pakistan in the first match of the T20 World Cup, which will be held in Australia. Kohli’s 82 runs helped India win the absolutely nail-biting match. After leading the team to victory with his brilliant batting performance, Kohli is being showered with praise from every corner. His fans are also happy with his performance as he was widely criticized for his bad form. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has also congratulated Kohli on his smashing innings.

“It was undoubtedly the best innings of your life. It was a treat to watch you play, the six off the back foot in the 19th over against Rauf over long on was spectacular. Keep it going,” tweeted Tendulkar.

Apart from Sachin Tendulkar, many cricketers including former Indian players Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh have also lavished praise on Kohli. India secured a thrilling victory in the Super 12 match of the T20 World Cup on the last ball. Chasing a target of 160 runs, India lost four-wickets and were struggling. It was Kohli and Hardik Pandya helped to seal the victory. Kohli scored an undefeated 82 off 53 balls. Kohli's innings consisted of six fours and four sixes. Hardik scored 40 runs off 37 balls and got out. Kohli's return to form has boosted the India’s World Cup hopes.
