Accused deported from Kannur found hanging in Kochi

KOCHI: A youth deported from Kannur after invoking Kerala Anti-social Activities (Prevention) Act (KAAPA) was found hanging in a lodge in Kochi. He has been identified as Vidhun of Kadirur in Kannur. He reached Kochi the other day.

Vidhun involved in various criminal cases in the last three years was deported from Kannur. The owner of the lodge informed the police as there was no response from his room.

He was found hanging when the police came and opened the door. The body has been shifted to the district hospital.
