Could resolve issues with Governor by having tea; Media distorted my remarks, says PS Sreedharan Pillai

KOZHIKODE: PS Sreedharan Pillai said that his statement about resolving conflict between Governor and government is not about Kerala. He earlier stated that the tussle between the Governor and government could be solved by having tea together. Pillai now said that his statement was distorted by media. The Governor of Goa said that action can be taken for the misinterpretation made by the media, but the matter is being ignored for now.

“While holding the Governor post of in Mizoram and now in Goa, there has been issues with the respective state governments. Usually, such matters are discussed and resolved while having tea in the evening,” said Pillai yesterday. But he clarified today that his words were not meant for Kerala. PS Sreedharan Pillai added that the media reported things that were not included in his remarks.
