‘That villain in Johnnie Walker film was a real underworld don’, this is what eventually happened

kk

‘Johnnie Walker’ is the film in which Prabudeva taught Mammootty to dance. Mammootty danced to Prabhu Deva's choreography for the evergreen hit song "Shantamee rathriyil". ‘Johnnie Walker’ was released in 1992. Jayaraj was the director and he followed a different style of direction in the film.

The protagonist was a notable character in the movie. K Radhakrishnan, the production controller of the film says that the person who played the character DD, a drug mafia gang leader, was an actual underworld don.

“The main villain of Johnnie Walker was a real underworld don in Bombay. He belonged to the real underworld. Director Jayaraj brought him to act in the film. He was really friendly to everyone. He used to take the boys who came for shooting to the club. He was a jovial person. Later I heard he was shot dead.”, said K Radhakrishnan.
