Locals in Thrissur restrain priest performing 'special pooja' with weapons in deserted property at midnight

THRISSUR: Local residents in Erumapetti in Thrissur restrained a priest who came to perform pooja in the middle of the night in a deserted property and handed him over to the police. The arrested is Satheesan, a native of Mullurkara. An airgun, knife and axe were seized from him. He told the locals and the police that he had come for the pooja at night to get rid of the evil on the property. The police have started an investigation into the incident and is quizzing Satheeshan.
