KOCHI: The High Court has criticized the contract company for not providing cans on time for the distribution of Aravana in Sabarimala. A division bench comprising Justice Anil K Narendran and Justice PG Ajith Kumar stated that the lapses on the part of the company cannot be allowed to continue.
The intervention of the court was based on the special commissioner's report regarding the failure of the contractor to deliver enough cans. The petition was adjourned to November 28 after the contractor and the Devaswom Board sought time to reply.
